We believe in whole health
At any life stage we integrate body, mind, and heart by providing primary care, dental care, behavioral health, and social services through a relationship that welcomes, strengthens, and helps our community soar. As a Patient-Centered Medical Home, we offer an inclusive approach to providing healthcare services that reflect the cultures, values, and needs of the individuals we serve. Our progressive care teams care deeply for their patients and come to our community with unique experiences and diverse cultural backgrounds.
While Lancaster Health Center charges fees for the healthcare services we provide, there are many different payment methods that keep our services affordable to patients. We care for patients with no insurance, commercial insurance, Medical Assistance* or Medicare. Our Sliding Fee Discount Program offers a discounted rate or nominal fee for medical and preventive dental services offered at our centers based on household income and size.

Community update on Project Lazarus Lancaster County:
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Lancaster Health Center has shifted resources within the organization to focus on primary care, dental care, integrated behavioral health care, and social support. It is for this reason that Lancaster Health Center has made the decision to discontinue the local outreach efforts of Project Lazarus Lancaster County.
If you or someone you know is in need of Narcan distribution, or would like more information on overdose prevention measures, please contact Lancaster County Joining Forces.
Lancaster Health Center partners with the Harrisburg Area Community College Nursing Program at our New Holland Avenue site to offer free patient education on many health topics/conditions. Nursing students partner with patients to develop healthy habits to meet each individual’s health goals.

Pharmacy voucher fund and use of 340B savings
The 340B drug program is a program designed to help safety net providers, such as Lancaster Health Center, stretch increasingly scarce federal resources and reinvest in patient care. Lancaster Health Center uses 340B savings to ensure patients that cannot afford their medication can still access their medication through our Pharmacy Voucher Fund.
