Contact tracing and how to self-isolate in a large household
If you tested positive for COVID-19 – Lancaster Health Center will call and talk to you about how you are feeling and what you should do next. You can also count on us to call back and check in on your health as you recover. Additionally, we will help you come up with a list of friends, family, or neighbors you were in close contact with before your symptoms started so we can let them know they were exposed to COVID-19. This is called “contact tracing.” We will not give them your name or information.
If you tested positive for COVID-19 and live in a large household – If you can, use a separate room and bathroom than the rest of your family. If you need to use a common area like the kitchen or living room, wear a mask, stay 6 feet from all family members, and disinfect any surfaces you touch.
If you were in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 – Lancaster Health Center will call and talk to you about how you are feeling and what you should do next. You can also count on us to call back and check in on your health as you recover.
